Kimley-Horn is seeking a Marketing Proposal Coordinator to join its in-office marketing team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role centers on coordinating, writing, and collaborating on proposals and thought leadership to help shape client and project strategy.
Overview
Based in the Charlotte office, this in-office position focuses on shaping client and project strategy through proactive proposal development and cross-functional collaboration. The role covers preparing and writing proposals, qualifications, letters, reports, presentations, brochures, award submittals, and other communications while coordinating with consultant firms and technical staff to gather materials and align messaging.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and write proposals, qualifications, letters, reports, presentations, brochures, award submittals, and other client communications
- Facilitate, coordinate, and participate in kickoff meetings and proposal production activities
- Coordinate with consulting firms for teaming and gathering marketing materials
- Communicate and interact with professionals, project managers, and technical staff
- Conduct marketing database queries and input data, maintaining accuracy of data on an ongoing basis
- Coordinate other special projects such as conferences, open houses, and client events
- Interview subject matter experts and write/edit technical content for target audiences
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional consulting services experience is required; A/E/C industry experience is a plus
- Bachelorβs degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Education, PR, or other relevant major
- Strong technical writing, editing, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Adobe InDesign
- Willingness to travel if needed
