Analyst, eMail and Print Marketing - West Elm
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee weekly and ad hoc email reporting, covering engagement metrics, trends, test outcomes, and overall campaign performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to validate all email campaign links for accuracy prior to launch
- Prepare seasonal and monthly email and print performance recaps and present findings to brand partners and leadership
- Assist in managing monthly financial forecast and accruals
- Execute catalog circulation and test plans, using data to identify targets and deliver relevant messaging to key customer segments
- Partner with Customer Analytics to measure incrementality of email and print programs, continually improving investment efficiency
- Proactively coordinate with team members, email deployment, brand, finance, analytics, and external vendors
- Track competitive marketplace trends and Marketing industry developments
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 1+ year of experience in Digital, Email or E-Commerce Marketing
- Enthusiastic and self motivated with a strong interest in Email
- Ability to lead projects proactively
- Analytical problem-solver with insatiable curiosity
- Ability to see trends and extract actionable insights from data to drive results
- Strong organization and interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communication
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and stay flexible
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables)
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to build effective relationships within the team and with cross functional partners and vendors
- Experience with a web analytics system is a plus
- This role requires onsite presence at the New York office Monday through Thursday, with Friday optional in the office

About the team
You will be part of the West Elm Customer Relationship Marketing team responsible for managing and optimizing the advertising investment across paid channels—Digital, Catalog, and Email—to maximize sales, while driving new customer acquisition and increasing engagement and wallet share with existing customers.
About the role
You will support the team in driving brand sales and optimizing the marketing investment across email and print channels for West Elm. The role includes executing campaigns aligned with key brand initiatives, identifying programs to acquire customers, developing and executing circulation plans, analyzing performance for trends and opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to maximize impact.
