Sales and Marketing Coordinator
Job Description
Europa Eyewear seeks a proactive Sales and Marketing Coordinator to support its wholesale division with sales operations, customer service, and marketing execution, onsite in Vernon Hills, IL.
Responsibilities
- Deliver routine support to the wholesale sales team and independent sales representatives to keep operations running smoothly.
- Process, track, and fulfill orders for retailer partners, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer service inquiries related to orders, shipments, inventory availability, and account support.
- Support sales operations through CRM updates, sales reporting, commission tracking, and forecasting assistance.
- Coordinate with internal operations and logistics to resolve order or fulfillment issues promptly.
- Assist marketing efforts aimed at retail partners, including creating and distributing sales collateral, lookbooks, digital assets, and promotional materials.
- Plan and execute trade shows, industry events, and retailer activations, including booth coordination, participation, materials preparation, and follow-up.
- Contribute to brand marketing initiatives such as social media support, content creation, email campaigns, and retailer merchandising programs.
- Maintain and update product information, imagery, and marketing assets across wholesale channels.
- Collaborate on seasonal campaigns and promotions to drive sell-through at retail.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and finance in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and take ownership of special projects when needed.
- Maintain a solutions-oriented mindset to support both internal teams and external retailer partners.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Three to five years of experience in sales support, marketing coordination, customer service, or related roles; eyewear, fashion, consumer goods, or wholesale backgrounds are preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; comfortable liaising with sales reps, retailers, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Google Workspace, and CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar; experience with Canva, Mailchimp, or similar marketing tools is a plus.
- Experience with workflow platforms such as ASANA.
- Detail-oriented with a customer-first mindset and a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment that moves with startup speed and requires ownership and adaptability.
- Passion for fashion, eyewear, or the American Optical brand is a strong plus.
