Job Description

DogCo Launch seeks a Marketing Coordinator to drive marketing execution and project management across the business and its annual Summit. This on-site role in Winston-Salem, NC offers a salary range of USD 47,000–55,000 per year and centers on creating content, managing vendors, analyzing performance, and building scalable systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling copy across email, social media, landing pages, website content, the podcast, and the Summit promotion.
  • Plan and execute campaigns end-to-end using MailerLite for email, Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) for social, Go High Level for funnels and landing pages, Canva for assets, Squarespace for web updates, and Skool for community touchpoints.
  • Project-manage marketing initiatives across DogCo, maintaining timelines, deliverables, and deadlines to keep campaigns moving to completion.
  • Lead marketing efforts for the annual Summit, a flagship event with about 200 attendees, handling promotion, content coordination, and logistics under the Founder’s strategic vision.
  • Manage vendor relationships, starting with the podcast editor, providing clear briefs, enforcing timelines, and performing quality checks.
  • Capture content daily with the Founder, on-site and camera-ready, converting real moments into marketing assets.
  • Analyze performance data, pull analytics, identify what works, what doesn’t, and recommend next steps.
  • Support broader DogCo administration across programming and the Summit in collaboration with the Founder and the Operations Coordinator.
  • Build and implement systems where processes are missing or unclear, creating scalable workflows.

Requirements

  • Strong copywriting ability that reflects our voice and resonates with the audience.
  • Willingness to learn, try new approaches, and move quickly with a bias toward action.
  • Candid about strengths and gaps; able to speak plainly when something isn’t within your wheelhouse.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback to vendors, peers, and leadership.
  • Strategic thinking supported by analytics and data-driven decision making.
  • Comfort with daily content capture alongside the Founder, both on camera and in spontaneous moments.
  • Immediate responsiveness during standard working hours.
  • Proactive in asking clarifying questions to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Ability to commit with a clear yes or no, avoiding vague aspirational statements.
  • High standards for self and leadership, with accountability and transparency.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and translating it into concrete actions.
  • Efficient, self-directed, and systems-oriented, owning responsibilities after training without requiring hand-holding.

What success looks like

After training, you manage marketing projects without a checklist. Campaigns ship on schedule, and vendors deliver because you maintain the timelines and uphold quality. The Founder’s daily moments become content without direct oversight, and you read performance data to flag what works and what does not, proposing the next move proactively. You demonstrate initiative and momentum without waiting for direction.

Travel and weekend requirements

Most work occurs during standard hours, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. With advance notice, occasional in-person weekend support is expected for events, including the DogCo Business Summit from October 2 to 4, 2026.
