Job Description

The role guides the strategic direction and execution of the company’s marketing efforts across supplier and brand marketing, digital initiatives, demand generation, ABM, design, and public relations. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this position sits on the Marketing Leadership Team and is based onsite in North Richland Hills, Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the marketing strategy with input from key stakeholders across the business
  • Oversee the marketing budget and make critical decisions on mix and performance
  • Direct the daily operations of the marketing team, including prioritization, recruitment, and development
  • Set and communicate key performance indicators for the team on a regular basis
  • Partner with the Chief Digital Marketing Officer to define brand strategy, guidelines, value propositions, and personas
  • Manage the marketing plan and craft campaigns that raise brand awareness and highlight value propositions
  • Develop and manage the marketing calendar including launches, trade shows, campaigns, and co marketing
  • Propose and administer marketing research to measure brand awareness, customer satisfaction, and experience
  • Analyze customer insights, trends, market data, and best practices to inform strategy
  • Lead the digital marketing automation program
  • Own the demand generation strategy, including ABM, lead generation, nurturing, pipeline acceleration, and campaign performance across priority segments and target accounts
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, eCommerce, Product, Supplier Management, and Commercial leadership to align marketing with revenue, margins, acquisition, retention, and share of wallet objectives
  • Identify and deploy AI enabled tools and workflows to improve productivity, campaign execution, content creation, analytics, personalization, and efficiency
  • Establish a disciplined marketing operating rhythm with clear priorities, scorecards, testing plans, budget accountability, and regular senior leadership updates
  • Drive change management and marketing transformation initiatives within a growth oriented private equity environment
  • Support the Sales team in managing lead nurturing and measure effectiveness of lead generation through to sale
  • Improve lead management by enhancing scoring, routing, attribution, conversion reporting, and closed loop feedback with Sales
  • Oversee creation and delivery of press releases, advertisements, and marketing collateral
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years in progressive marketing roles, including at least 5+ years in people leadership
  • Proven experience leading B2B marketing programs, ideally in industrial distribution, electronics, manufacturing, supply chain, or related technical product contexts
  • Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • MBA is preferred
  • Strong expertise in marketing automation, ABM, lead generation, funnel management, and campaign performance optimization
  • At least 2+ years of brand management experience
  • At least 2+ years of experience in public relations, advertising, and graphic design
  • Solid understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels
  • Experience with paid search, organic search, and email marketing
  • Preferably deep B2B experience with a focus on industrial distribution and technical or SKU intensive products
  • Proven ability to run social media campaigns and online marketing initiatives
  • Demonstrated use of AI, automation, analytics, and marketing technology to improve efficiency, effectiveness, personalization, and decision making
  • Experience in fast paced, metrics driven, private equity backed, transformation or high growth environments is preferred
  • Strong commercial orientation with the ability to translate marketing activities into measurable outcomes such as revenue, margins, pipeline, retention, and acquisition
  • Preferred location is Dallas, TX with capability to collaborate across distributed teams and travel as needed
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and allocate resources effectively
  • Tech proficiency with marketing automation, CRM, CMS, analytics and reporting tools, AI enabled productivity or content tools, WordPress, Office365; Marketo experience is preferred

Location and travel

Location: North Richland Hills, Texas, onsite. Preference for Dallas, TX as the base with collaboration across distributed teams and travel as required.
