About the Role
We are seeking a Marketing and Social Media Specialist to own Zaytoun Catering’s online presence. This is a mid-level role requiring established experience, ready to contribute from day one. On-site with our team in Mount Laurel, you will capture authentic moments at events and in the kitchen, then transform footage into engaging content. You will manage our social channels end to end, oversee Google Ads, and contribute fresh ideas to help grow monthly revenue. If you need training on social media fundamentals, content creation, or paid advertising, this position may not be the right fit.
What You Will Do
- Plan, shoot, edit, and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other performance-driven platforms
- Capture photo and video content at catering events, tastings, and inside the kitchen
- Write captions, hooks, and copy that align with our brand voice and convert viewers into customers
- Develop and manage a monthly content calendar
- Respond to DMs, comments, reviews, and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Plan, launch, and optimize Google Ads campaigns
- Track performance weekly and report on what works, what does not, and what is being tested next
- Research trends, competitors, and local market opportunities to bring fresh growth ideas each month
- Coordinate with the owner on promotions, seasonal menus, and event partnerships
- Maintain organized files for raw footage, edited content, and brand assets
- Handle light marketing admin tasks such as email list management, vendor outreach, and partnership follow ups
What You Need to Qualify
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in marketing and social media management
- Proven track record running Google Ads campaigns with measurable results
- Strong portfolio of content you have personally shot, edited, and posted
- Ability to work in person at our Mount Laurel, NJ location
- Reliable transportation
- Your own equipment for shooting and editing (phone or camera, tripod, ring light, editing software)
- Proficiency with editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, or similar
- Excellent written English, grammar, and brand voice consistency
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your own calendar without micromanagement
- 3 professional references with current contact information
- Public links to social accounts, ad accounts, or campaigns you have managed
Nice to Have
- Experience marketing food, hospitality, restaurants, or catering
- Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Email marketing experience (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Constant Contact)
- Experience with Google Business Profile and local SEO
- Comfortable being on camera occasionally
