Location and schedule

Location: Knoxville, Tennessee. This is a hybrid role with most team members in the office Monday through Thursday and working remotely on Fridays. Type is salaried, exempt, full-time.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with a portfolio of e-commerce vacation rental clients to craft and execute SEO strategies aligned with their business goals.
  • Prepare monthly Looker Studio reports to communicate progress, insights, and recommended next steps.
  • Set up SEO foundations for new website projects, including 301 redirects, on-page optimization, Google Analytics configuration, and XML sitemap setup.
  • Navigate Drupal and Wordpress CMS to add content, optimize metadata, manage redirects, and configure SEO modules.
  • Contribute to content strategy and content creation in collaboration with a content specialist, including writing or refining blog content.
  • Monitor Google Search Console for errors and recommendations and address issues as needed.
  • Maintain and optimize Google My Business profiles for clients.
  • Conduct SEO audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Configure goals and filters in Google Analytics to measure performance and inform decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Bluetent and Inhabit web developers, project managers, advertising specialists, and strategic account managers.
  • Stay informed on SEO industry developments and share insights with the team to apply best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of agency or in-house SEO experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience writing or editing blog content for a website
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics with the ability to analyze and explain data
  • Solid understanding of crawl errors, indexation, page speed, and other technical SEO elements
  • Ability to use Google Search Console to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Experience with keyword research and rank-tracking tools
  • Strong grasp of the Google ranking algorithm and SEO best practices
  • Knowledge of the local search ecosystem
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and SEO setups concurrently, with organized task tracking and communication
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Motivation to achieve strong results for clients
  • Experience with Drupal is a plus
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager is a plus
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to adapt and support various responsibilities
  • Enthusiasm for digital marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
