eCommerce Marketing Specialist / Technology

Green Earth Electronics Recycling is recruiting an Ecommerce Marketing Specialist to promote used and refurbished technology across online marketplaces and the companys own eCommerce site. The role focuses on market research, product photography and descriptions, listing creation, handling customer inquiries, tracking trends, packaging, shipping, and inventory management.

Saint Joseph, Michigan (onsite)

Compensation

USD 15 - 20 per hour

Hours

• Part-time or full-time
• Flexible hours (M-F 7:00 am to 3:30 pm)
• Temporary or internship arrangements available
• Some Saturdays required for community recycling events

Responsibilities

• Research and determine current market value for used tech and electronics
• Photograph and write detailed product descriptions, highlighting features, condition, and included accessories
• Create engaging product listings for online marketplaces, adhering to guidelines and best practices
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries about listed products
• Stay informed about online selling trends and best practices
• Occasionally assist with packaging and shipping
• Inventory management

Requirements

• Experience creating product listings for online marketplaces (eg, eBay, Amazon, Facebook Marketplace) is a plus
• Solid understanding of current tech trends and the ability to identify features and specifications of various electronic devices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
• Ability to capture high-quality product photographs with a smartphone
• Proficient computer skills and comfortable navigating multiple online platforms
• Strong time management and prioritization abilities
• Experience refurbishing or troubleshooting electronics is a plus
• People-oriented, professional, attentive to detail, analytical, punctual
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs safely on your own
• Honest and reliable
