Ecommerce Marketing Specialist
Job Description
Ecommerce Marketing Specialist in Cerritos, CA (onsite) to manage the online store, product catalog, Shopify listings, landing pages, campaigns, and the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Standardize vendor product data received in varied formats (Excel, PDF, spec sheets, raw data) for uploading to the storefront
- Create and publish new Shopify listings across printers, parts, consumables, and accessories categories
- Maintain accuracy of product data, including titles, descriptions, specs, pricing, images, and variants
- Enforce a consistent tagging taxonomy to improve searchability and filtering
- Regularly audit existing listings and refresh details as vendor specs and pricing change
- Use bulk import tools and spreadsheets to update the catalog at scale
- Administer the website through Shopify and GemPages
- Structure collections and refine navigation and merchandising for logical browsing
- Refresh homepage and key pages as products, promotions, and priorities shift
- Maintain a visually cohesive, organized, and current storefront
- Design and update landing pages for promotions, product launches, trade shows, events, and campaigns
- Ensure product messaging across the site stays accurate and compelling
- Set up and manage HubSpot forms, lead capture workflows, and CRM routing
- Plan, schedule, and run email campaigns in HubSpot
- Develop and maintain email templates, workflows, audience segments, and automated campaigns
- Improve the website user experience and the overall customer journey
- Optimize site structure, layouts, merchandising, and navigation to boost conversions and revenue
- Continuously modernize the site to strengthen brand presentation, trust, and credibility
- Research competitor ecommerce sites and industry trends to identify opportunities
- Recommend improvements to usability, accessibility, SEO structure, product discovery, and the customer journey
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on campaigns and website projects
- Align website and product messaging with the team broader marketing efforts
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on ecommerce, digital marketing, or online merchandising experience
- Direct experience managing a Shopify store, including uploading products, building collections, and editing pages
- Strong spreadsheet and data skills; you can transform messy vendor files into clean listings
- Sharp attention to detail; you catch small errors others miss
- Experience with a landing page builder such as GemPages and a CRM or email platform such as HubSpot is a plus
- Solid grasp of SEO basics, conversion principles, and what makes an online store easy to shop
- Able to manage a high volume of listings and tasks without sacrificing accuracy
- Interested in improving how an online store looks, feels, and performs
