Performance Marketing Analyst
Job Description
The Performance Marketing Analyst at SERVPRO of LaGrange will oversee paid growth, analytics, and AI powered systems across four franchise locations in the greater Chicago area. This role focuses on Google Ads and Local Services Ads, rigorous analytics, and leadership-brand marketing to sustain a healthy pipeline while driving down cost per job.
Responsibilities
- Own Google Ads end to end across all four franchise accounts, including campaign structure, budgets, bidding, ad copy, keywords, and match-type strategy.
- Perform weekly and multi-week performance analyses; detect anomalies such as spend spikes and broad-match blowouts, and take corrective action the same day.
- Conduct search-term audits and maintain organized negative-keyword lists by category (competitor brands, irrelevant service lines, DIY/research queries, cross-franchise negatives).
- Diagnose and eliminate wasted spend; design and execute budget-reallocation plans across campaigns and locations.
- Improve Quality Scores, tighten match types, and migrate suitable campaigns to smart bidding (Target CPA) where conversion volume supports it.
- Safeguard conversion-tracking integrity so every call, form, and lead is measured accurately.
- Understand restoration unit economics for water, fire, mold, biohazard, and commercial service lines and tie decisions to booked jobs and revenue.
- Manage Local Services Ads (LSA) health across locations, monitor review velocity, and handle lead disputes to maintain cost-efficiency.
- Drive Google Business Profile optimization for LSA eligibility and local visibility, including Q&A seeding and review-language shaping that aligns service, location, and problem.
- Maintain consistent NAP citations and off-domain signals to strengthen local and AI answer engine presence for each location.
- Base recommendations on data with sources; maintain the live data layer and verify data before making performance claims.
- Build dashboards and visualizations in Looker Studio, Tableau, or equivalent, and deliver clear weekly performance reports to franchise leadership.
- Track funnel stages from click to lead to qualified lead to booked job to completed to review, identifying leakage points.
- Own attribution discipline, including CRM lead-source naming and offline-conversion integration back into Google Ads.
- Develop and integrate AI-powered systems for the marketing team using Claude and MCP connectors (Supermetrics and related tools).
- Maintain and extend the AI Google Ads strategy tool, including a Claude Project that analyzes data, flags issues, and drafts strategy from live data.
- Train the team on AI-accelerated workflows to reclaim hours of manual data wrangling each week.
- Continuously explore innovative tooling that enhances output without adding headcount.
- Oversee organic presence across LinkedIn, YouTube, and Reddit to support lead generation and brand authority.
- Support leadership LinkedIn initiatives in the owner’s voice to attract insurers, property managers, enterprise accounts, and government contracts.
- Produce case studies and authority content to differentiate locations from competitors.
- Maintain the marketing operating system, uphold priority tracking, and sustain weekly and monthly cadences with clear KPIs by role.
- Coordinate with sales/marketing, in-house ads, office, and call intake to ensure clean lead handoffs and accurate source tagging.
- Lead, mentor, or manage marketing team members and maintain accountability to trackers and cadence.
- Interface with external partners, including the Google Ads account team, and represent marketing in leadership reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.
- 3–5+ years of relevant digital marketing experience.
