Job Description

Retail Technology Group Inc is seeking a Marketing & Sales Enablement Manager in Fenton, MO (hybrid) to lead RTG’s marketing engine with a hands-on, player-coach approach and a salary range of USD 75,000 to 95,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • The primary voice of the company: research and draft initial copy for case studies, blog posts, and white papers, ensuring technical accuracy and tone alignment before finalizing or passing to design.
  • Digital channel management: independently run the weekly LinkedIn content plan and the monthly email newsletters, including copywriting, graphic creation (Canva or Adobe), and deployment scheduling.
  • Website maintenance: serve as the hands-on WordPress administrator, handling routine updates (news, bios, text changes) in-house and coordinating with a developer for complex structural changes.
  • Rapid response design: develop and refresh Tier 2 sales assets, updating slides or one-pagers with new specs using PowerPoint, Canva, or InDesign as needed.
  • Complex asset management: act as Creative Director for Tier 1 assets (flagship brochures, trade show backdrops), writing the creative brief, sourcing freelancers/agencies, and overseeing revisions for high-quality output.
  • Presentation architecture: own the Master Sales Deck, ensuring the Gold Standard version remains up to date and accessible to the sales team.
  • Event logistics: manage end-to-end trade show execution, including space booking, booth asset design/purchasing (in collaboration with vendors), and a pre-show marketing blitz to drive traffic.
  • CRM and reporting: align marketing with sales by tracking lead sources in the CRM and delivering monthly reporting on Marketing Influenced Revenue to demonstrate ROI of internal activities and external spend.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a role involving hands-on content creation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
  • Canva proficiency is mandatory; working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is highly preferred; comfortable resizing images, laying out text, and prepping files for print.
  • CMS proficiency: demonstrated ability to manage a WordPress site with standard page builders such as Elementor or Divi.
  • Strong business copywriting skills; able to translate technical concepts into persuasive sales arguments without external help.
  • The general contractor mindset: able to decide when to do it yourself for speed or cost, and when to outsource for quality or complexity.
  • Sales alignment: service-oriented mindset that treats the Sales Team as the primary customer.
  • Project management: capable of managing budgets and timelines for multiple freelance projects simultaneously.
