Marketing Operations Coordinator
Job Description
Applied Information Inc. is seeking a Marketing Operations Coordinator for an onsite role in Alpharetta, GA. The position offers a salary of USD 65,000 - 75,000 per year and a benefits package that includes 401(k), dental, health, and vision insurance. The role focuses on coordinating marketing communications, trade shows and events, and cross functional projects to keep work moving on schedule and with high efficiency.
What you will do
- Coordinate the intake process for marketing and communications requests
- Verify every request captures audience, objectives, deadlines, approvers, priorities, and required assets
- Maintain project calendars, track deadlines and deliverables, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain momentum
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal teams seeking marketing and communications support
- Create and share weekly status updates that show active, upcoming, and completed work
- Support the upkeep of processes, templates, documentation, and asset libraries to boost efficiency and consistency
- Lead the full lifecycle of trade shows and events from planning to post-event follow-up, including logistics, inventory, collateral preparation, shipping, and on-site support
- Coordinate materials, vendor deliverables, and internal resources to meet deadlines and ensure event requirements are executed accurately
- Act as a liaison among distributors, vendors, and internal teams, delivering timely follow-up and keeping deliverables visible to ensure accountability through to completion
- Assist with operational planning and logistics for industry events, customer engagements, and company initiatives, maintaining clear stakeholder communication and status updates
- Assist with coordinating marketing communications, creative work, technical writing, proposals, and event projects while managing multiple priorities
- Handle multiple projects concurrently, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing operations by refining processes, communication, and project management practices
Requirements
- Excellent written and spoken communication, with a track record of collaborating across sales, marketing, leadership, and other teams while keeping stakeholders aligned
- Proven ownership and accountability with the ability to drive initiatives forward and deliver on time
- Strong judgment, prioritization, and problem-solving, with skill in identifying risks early, surfacing conflicts, and proposing solutions to keep projects on track
- Detail-oriented and process-driven, committed to accuracy and consistency while managing a high volume of work
- Proactive, self-directed, and able to follow up to ensure accountability and clear communication of actions and decisions
- Adaptable and solutions-focused, remaining organized and responsive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience coordinating marketing or sales operations, project workflows, agency traffic, events, proposals, or bid management is preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams across multiple time zones, maintaining consistent communication and coordination
