Job Description

Marketing Manager (1 Year Temporary) at UW–Green Bay leads integrated, data-informed enrollment marketing campaigns to elevate the university brand and recruit students.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and execute integrated marketing campaigns aligned with UW‑Green Bay's strategic priorities and enrollment goals.
  • Convert marketing strategy into concrete action plans; oversee timelines, budgets, resources, and workflows to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.
  • Analyze and segment target audiences to uncover opportunities, optimize channel mix, and drive ongoing performance improvements.
  • Oversee creative development across digital, traditional, and emerging channels; ensure brand consistency and storytelling anchored in the university's RISE identity.
  • Collaborate across campus to amplify stories of student success, academic innovation, and regional impact.
  • Track performance metrics and provide insights to inform ongoing optimization and future campaigns.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members involved in student recruitment marketing efforts.
  • Develop operational plans in support of marketing projects, including staffing and resource allocation, and oversee execution to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Segment audiences, identify marketing opportunities, assess competition, integrate tactics, and measure program results.
  • Develop, edit, review, and provide feedback on content.
  • Oversee creative development and project management processes for marketing activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree at time of application
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, or related field
  • Five to seven years of experience in integrated marketing, brand management, or agency environments
  • Experience in higher education or mission‑driven organizations is highly valued
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with hands‑on campaign execution across multiple channels
  • Data‑informed mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
  • Excellent project management, communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for higher education and belief in access, opportunity and student success

Compensation

Salary range: USD 59,000 - 64,921 per year

Conditions of Appointment

This position may have the option to work on‑campus or in a hybrid schedule, subject to approved telecommuting requests. The home campus is Green Bay, and travel to or work at the Marinette, Sheboygan, or Manitowoc Campus may be required based on operational needs.
