Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute in‑store events from concept to completion
  • Develop and oversee recurring clubs or organizations linked to store categories and local communities
  • Own event logistics end to end, including timelines, calendars, run of show, checklists, and staffing coordination
  • Coordinate outreach to vendors and partners, manage scheduling, confirmations, and day‑of coordination
  • Ensure signage and promotional materials for events are planned and ready
  • Represent the brand at select off‑site events such as hamfests, tradeshows, and local gatherings
  • Track outcomes and produce post‑event recaps covering attendance, signups, what worked, and opportunities to improve
  • Design promotional assets for events and store promotions for print and digital channels
  • Typical deliverables include flyers, posters, in‑store signage, social graphics, web banners, and email graphics
  • Maintain organized files and reusable templates to speed up production
  • Create simple animated assets (GIFs) as needed
  • Support light photography and basic video capture/editing for event promotion and recaps as needed

Requirements

  • Experience in event planning, coordination, or community programming (retail events, workshops, meetups, vendor events, etc.)
  • Graphic design experience with a portfolio covering print and digital work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator; InDesign is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with dates, times, pricing, product details, and exports
  • Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable coordinating partners and vendors
  • Well organized and capable of managing multiple moving parts and deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable being customer‑facing at events and representing GigaParts
