Job Description

Verisk offers a collaborative, data driven environment where a Content Marketing Strategist can shape strategy and assets for B2B campaigns across the insurance customer journey. This onsite role in Jersey City, NJ reports to the Director, Content Marketing and requires in person presence two days per week, increasing to three days per week in 2027. You will translate industry knowledge into content that informs, engages, and drives measurable outcomes while aligning with Verisk business goals.

Responsibilities

Create high quality content across formats such as blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, newsletters, and social media.
Serve as a trusted content knowledge expert for assigned business areas, developing fluency in Verisk’s industries, product lines, and value propositions to produce resonant, outcomes driven content.
Partner with internal teams to develop customer focused digital content, including persuasive copy for microsites, product pages, and landing pages.
Collaborate with product, sales, and customer success to identify key messages and value propositions and translate them into content and campaigns that drive quarterly results.
Champion best practices for AI enabled tools, SEO and GEO, content structure and distribution, and measurement.
Work with the team to recommend and develop communications that support sales, marketing, investor relations, and corporate objectives.
Help manage Verisk wide tools and guidelines for tone, style, and voice across all brand content.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging content marketing technologies and tools.
Help establish KPIs and practices for measuring content performance, assessing effectiveness and ROI.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
7+ years of content marketing experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment focused on the insurance industry.
Proven track record of developing and executing content marketing campaigns that drive growth and engagement.
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with the talent to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
Strong understanding of content strategy, copywriting, content analytics, and digital marketing best practices.
Familiarity with content management systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms.
Ability to work cross functionally and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
Creative thinker with solid analytical and problem solving skills.
Self starter who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
