Sr. Associate, Email Marketing
Job Description
LA28 offers an onsite opportunity in downtown Los Angeles with a salary range of USD 73,000 – 98,000 per year. Join a team focused on delivering fan‑first email experiences across the Olympic and Paralympic movement, collaborating across CRM and digital engagement to drive meaningful results. This role centers on creating compelling first-draft copy for lifecycle programs, shaping data‑driven personalization, and building scalable content processes as the team grows.
Responsibilities
- Develop first-draft email copy (body, subject lines, and preview text) across the fan lifecycle, translating briefs into conversion-focused messaging for milestones such as ticketing, volunteer journeys, merchandise, and the Torch Relay.
- Propose and refine data‑driven personalization strategies, collaborating with Email and CRM Operations to tailor messages using behavioral, demographic, and lifecycle data.
- Serve as the central point for gathering and synthesizing cross‑functional feedback; build trusted relationships to streamline reviews, reconcile inputs, and maintain a feedback log to accelerate approvals.
- Lead the email testing pipeline by conceiving hypotheses, executing A/B tests (copy, subject lines, CTAs), and integrating results into the content strategy.
- Create and maintain reusable email messaging frameworks, templates, and playbooks to standardize content development and boost efficiency.
- Collaborate with other DIG sub‑functions to preserve a consistent, fan‑first brand voice and tone in external emails.
- Coordinate campaign timelines, manage the lifecycle calendar, and maintain trackers for stakeholder visibility; address bottlenecks and design scalable workflows for content intake and review as the team grows.
- Uphold content quality as a non‑negotiable standard by validating copy, links, personalization logic, and brand alignment prior to deployment, with emphasis on ticketing, volunteer, and Torch Relay communications; work with Integrated, Digital Content, and Web & App teams.
- Partner with CRM and Email Operations to review deployment requirements early, flag potential content or technical issues, and support QA for dynamic content, device rendering, and segmentation logic.
- Collaborate with Fan Data & Analytics to analyze performance trends (open rates, CTR, conversions) and translate insights into actionable recommendations to optimize messaging and inform future briefs.
Requirements

- Stakeholder management skills: gathering inputs, synthesizing requirements, managing conflict, and prioritization.
