Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator role is based onsite in Munster, IN, supporting Marketing, Corporate Communications and Community Relations while coordinating special projects, health fairs, community events and presentations to advance hospital service lines and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative assistance to Marketing, Corporate Communications and Community Relations teams.
  • Create reports and marketing materials using word processing, database and graphics software.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating special projects, health fairs, community events and presentations aligned with hospital service lines and goals.
  • Participate as a member of hospital committees.
  • Oversee the management of print and digital projects from conception to delivery.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and ensure information is up to date.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related communication field and at least one year of healthcare or marketing experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required, including online database management; knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or InDesign is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects.
  • Ability to create and analyze spreadsheets.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Uses experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, with a degree of creativity and latitude.
  • Available to support occasional nights and weekends for events and programming.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to all Powers Health locations or events.
